In this role you will:

- Develop, implement, and evaluate financial literacy workshops, ensuring engaging and interactive learning experiences.
- Support the Online Learning Platform Specialist with the creation of learning materials for the youth.
- Prepare for and facilitates in-class learning; engage participants making workshops interactive and relevant.
- Lead the expansion of the program to reach a target of 300 participants monthly through enhanced promotion and strategic partnerships.
- Integrate financial literacy components into existing programs like Youth for Entrepreneurship, Black Achievers and Newcomers Youth Leadership Development, ensuring broader and more impactful delivery.
- Collaborate with Finance, Employment teams, and community partners, including Newcomer Services, to ensure comprehensive and consistent program delivery.
- Refers members to appropriate program service providers or community agencies based on personal needs and goals of participants
- Utilize virtual platforms for broader outreach, adapting to the needs of youth and other targeted demographics.
- Work with other Ys across Ontario and Canada to offer virtual delivery to their youth participants and partners
- Other duties as assigned.

You Bring:

- Post-secondary education in Business Management, Financial Services, Education, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in facilitating workshops or training sessions, particularly in financial literacy or related areas.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in virtual delivery of educational programs is highly desirable.
- Able to motivate and encourage others; familiarity and understanding of various tools to assist with financial literacy.
- Able to visualize, understand and articulate YMCA and project outcomes.
- Well-developed interpersonal, and relationship-building skills; ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with members, staff, and volunteers.
- A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with skills in creating and delivering content that is accessible and relevant to diverse audiences.
- Flexibility in schedule, including the possibility of evenings and weekends, to meet the program's outreach and delivery goals.
- Commitment to working in a socially inclusive environment responding with sensitivity and personal awareness to the diverse needs of members including visible and non-visible dimensions of diversity.
