**Roles and responsibilities**

The **Logistics Coordinator** will be required to undertake the following duties in a timely and professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence:

- provide best-in-class shipping solutions for customers
- build solid relationships with clients
- negotiate pricing and prepare quotations for clients
- coordinate dispatch of critical freight based on specific client requests
- maintain effective communication and coordination of shipments with customers, carriers and drivers
- facilitating inquiry and problem resolution related to the assigning and delivery of loads, to customers, carriers and drivers
- collecting/organizing necessary documentation for proper billing of customers
- sourcing, qualifying and adding carriers to the operation platform
- providing support as required to fellow team members
- tackling additional tasks that may be requested by customers, as well as taking on additional duties as requested by the leadership team

**Qualifications**
- highly proficient in spoken and written English
- exceptional customer service and telephone communication skills
- outgoing personality/people person
- exceptional customer service and communication skills
- excellent time management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- ability to multitask and prioritize
- able to work independently with mínimal supervision
- proficiency in computer/digital literacy - knowledge of UFOS is an asset
- experience in transportation/logistics/3PL industry is a definite asset

**Salary**: $44,915.00-$47,225.00 per year
