As we continue to grow progressively, Libro is on a mission to find a passionately accountable full-time Credit Specialist Level 2, Business Banking, supporting our London Administration office. This role is eligible for flexible work arrangements.

The Epic Human we are looking for will;
Approve/pend/decline credit transactions within assigned limits and provide recommendations to the appropriate approval authority up to and including the highest loan committees ensuring decisions are consistent with legal compliance, prudent financial analysis and risk management.
Assist business lenders and support staff in the structuring of complex credit submissions
Ability to meet in person with owners and branch staff when required
Minimize loan risks through diligent, and proactive financial reviews and awareness of changing economic/marketplace influences and applicable industry trends/data
Assist Senior Credit Manager, Business Banking with policy oversight and modifications as periodically required in area of expertise and projects/other duties as assigned.

Demonstrate an expert ability to analyze financial information and understand aspects of different types lending including: project/construction financing, goodwill/cashflow lending, and lending that requires monitoring and/or margining

Demonstrate an expert knowledge of loan products structuring and loan security

Demonstrate an expert knowledge of different borrowing and business structures

Have a strong and thorough knowled ge of the agriculture/commercial lending marketplace

Have knowledge of legislation pertaining to agriculture & commercial lending.

Have strong written and verbal communication with ability to communicate confidently with members of various loan committees, external consultants, legal counsel, etc.

Do you have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in a commercial/agricultural credit role in the financial industry with 10-12 years of work experience?
