**BVOR Worker, Refugee Sponsorship Training Program (RSTP)**

(Full-time, contract until March 31, 2025 with possibility of extension)

Catholic Crosscultural Services (CCS) is a settlement agency providing a wide range of services to immigrants and refugees regardless of race, religion or status.

The Refugee Sponsorship Training Program (RSTP) is administered by CCS. RSTP provides nationwide services to address the training, information and support needs of sponsors involved in the Private Sponsorship of Refugees (PSR), Blended Visa Office Referred (BVOR) and Joint Assistance Sponsorship (JAS) programs.

We are searching for a full-time BVOR Worker who will be responsible to promote and match BVOR cases with interested sponsors, including Sponsorship Agreement Holders (SAHs), and their Constituent Groups (CGs) and co-sponsors, Groups of Five and Community Sponsors.

**What you will be doing**:

- Match refugees referred under the BVOR and JAS programs with sponsors.
- Organize and deliver sessions to promote the BVOR and JAS programs (with partners and stakeholders as needed) to potential sponsors and the public to increase the visibility and awareness of the program.
- Develop resources, materials and e-newsletters to promote the BVOR and JAS programs to new, existing and potential sponsors.
- Work with the RSTP Communications & Marketing Coordinator to develop and implement a marketing strategy for the BVOR program.
- Manage and maintain the RSTP Matching Database by ensuring profiles are uploaded in a timely manner and provide support to sponsors with viewing and selecting profiles, including troubleshooting any errors.
- Communicate with BVOR and JAS program partners on a regular basis, such as IRCC and UNHCR.
- Organize and deliver pre-arrival orientations to sponsors that have been matched with BVOR cases.
- Continuously monitor, analyze and interpret policy or operational changes affecting the PSR, BVOR and JAS programs and incorporate them into training and information-sharing activities.
- Assist in preparing regular internal and external reports detailing project activities and progress.

**What are we looking for?**
- Post-secondary education in Social Sciences, Humanities, or a related field.
- Experience in refugee sponsorship or working in refugee protection and/or the resettlement of refugees.
- Knowledge of Canada’s refugee sponsorship and resettlement programs, including the BVOR and JAS programs.
- Knowledge of other global refugee protection/resettlement systems is an asset.
- Ability to work productively in an MS Office environment, with databases and online training platforms.
- Experience in planning, organizing and delivering in-person and online trainings for adults.
- Proven experience in research and analysis of information, and ability to present the information in clear and concise language in a variety of formats.
- Experience creating and implementing project plans, and developing resource materials in a variety of formats.
- Proven ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds, partner organizations and stakeholders, and the ability to communicate effectively in cross-cultural settings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and knowledge of French is a strong asset.
- Experience developing and implementing marketing strategies is a strong asset.

**Location**:Toronto, ON

**Compensation**:$32.81 to $34.82 based on experience.

**Hours of work**:35 hours per week, including evenings, weekends and occasional overtime as required.
