**Community Program Facilitator**
At the Town of High River, people come first. We are looking for a _Community Program Facilitator_ to join our organization and contribute to our culture focused on accountability, excellence, and connection.

**The Role**
Parks & Recreation is invested in active living and helping people stay active for life. This role requires a strong sense and understanding of our community as this position supports the Community Programmer in developing and coordinating programs. The Facilitator leads the coordination and planning of special events which are tailored for our residents. This position helps people grow their physical literacy skills and maintaining an active lifestyle by facilitating/instructing recreation programs.
To be successful will have a grade 12 education or equivalent with a certificate in AFLCA or a related discipline. Post-secondary education (in-progress or completed) in Community Development, Recreation, or Special Events is considered an asset. In addition, 2 to 5 years’ experience in Recreation Programming or Community Engagement is required. Your creative ideas and out of the box thinking will help support the programming team into a future filled with innovative ideas and services that are offered to our residents.
