**Overview**

We are seeking a Director of Programs to join our team. The Director of Programs is a key member of Lift's leadership team. This role is responsible for managing Lifts client-facing programs and will provide leadership to Lift's Community Health Services, Housing Services, Community Development Programs and Employment Services teams.

**Responsibilities**

Operations Management
- Directing operations management and oversight for the organizations core programs and services across four departments
- Strengthening use of and implementing new support systems and platforms to facilitate program management and internal communications
- Ensuring consistent statistical and evaluative data collection, following established plans
- Human resources management for the core programs and services, and supervise departmental managers and clinical leads. Conduct weekly 1-on-1s with 4 direct reports
- Oversee program and service finances
- Oversee program and service risk management
- Monitoring policy and standards adherence and training operations for the four core service departments
- Oversee clinical health services for Lift in collaboration with external partners
- Implement strategic plan into program operations
- Ensure compliance with all funder requirements, including submitting necessary reports and other information

Leadership and Coaching
- Lead the integration of change and transition for your teams
- Provide coaching and general support and lead team of department and clinical managers
- Actively support the individual leadership development needs of all direct reports
- As a member of the Lift Senior Leadership team, attend weekly meetings, monthly full-day meetings and an annual multi-day retreat

Program Development & Planning
- Establish a funding model for all program departments and coordinate fundraising activities within that model
- Identifying and advising on policy to practice gaps and collaborating with the policy committee on solutions
- Participating in accreditation planning and implementation,
- Identifying required and optimal training needs
- Identify trends and best practises in non-profit community service delivery and coordinate necessary training and knowledge translation initiatives
- Participate in the development and monitoring of an evaluation and statistical collection plan for all Lift programs and services

Communications and Stakeholder Engagement
- Develop and sustain relationships with existing and future funding partners of the core programs
- Conduct responsive and proactive communications with community and stakeholders
- Lead internal and external complaints reviews and response for four core service departments
- Participate in crisis communications and response

**Qualifications**
- A Master’s level degree in social work or a health related field and five years direct experience and extensive leadership and supervisory experience in a mid-sized community organization (more than $3 million in annual revenue) or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Significant and demonstrated project management experience
- Demonstrated expertise in managerial finance and program budgeting and monitoring
- Excellent oral, written, facilitation and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated teamwor
