Social Media Specialist

**Job Summary**:
As _**Social Media Specialist & Tradeshow Coordinator**_**, **The primary goal is to enhance brand awareness, engage with our target audience and consumers, and drive traffic or sales to our Independent retail or online sales network using various social media platforms.
Key responsibilities include creating and curating engaging content, planning and executing social media campaigns, analyzing performance metrics, staying updated on industry trends, managing social media accounts, fostering community engagement, and collaborating with other teams to ensure a cohesive online presence. The Social Media Specialist & Tradeshow Coordinator plays a crucial role in building and maintaining a positive brand image across digital channels.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
**Strategy Development**:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with overall marketing goals.
- Identify target audience and create content that resonates with different demographics.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to refine strategies.
**Content Creation/ Graphic Arts**
- Generate engaging and shareable content for various social media platforms.
- Create a content calendar outlining posting schedules and themes.
- Collaborate with our Graphic design team, photographers, and Marketing to produce visually appealing content.
- Working with a wide range of media including photography and PC design software (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop).
- Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work.
- Contributing ideas and designing artwork according to project objective(s).
- Experience working with manipulating and developing vectors
- Effectively generate engaging written content that is relevant to our company that will attract new customers, leading to sales conversions, increased website traffic, and creating a space that is educational and promotional in nature.
- **Platform Management**:
- Manage and optimize social media accounts across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok )
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay informed about platform algorithm changes and adapt strategies accordingly.
- **Analytics and Reporting**:
- Utilize analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the success of social media campaigns.
- Provide regular reports on social media performance, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
- **Community Building**:
- Foster a sense of community around the brand by engaging with followers and influencers.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the social media audience and increase brand awareness.
- **Campaign Management**:
- Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in messaging across all channels.
- **Brand Advocacy**:
- Identify and nurture brand advocates and influencers.
- Develop partnerships and collaborations to expand the brand's reach.
**Staying Informed**:
- Stay aware of industry trends, new social media tools, and emerging platforms.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the brand's presence in the digital space.
**Budget Management**:
- Manage and allocate budgets effectively for paid social media advertising.
- Monitor the ROI of paid campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
**Tradeshow Coordination**
- Overseeing and managing the operation of the Showroom used by our sales team and retail store customers.
- Manage layouts and stock of our Showroom area.
- Aid in the planning, creation, and set up of tradeshow elements
- Creating high visual impact at tradeshows and in-house showrooms.
- Conceptualization and Creation of Marketing materials for customer direct marketing or Trade Show promotional use, or Social Media Content.
- Set up and maintain our “Perpetual Trade show” and integrate new items into the display.
- Assist in the planning, scheduling, logistics and team travel required for various trade shows attended through out the year.

- Effective computer skills in MS Office and Outlook.
- Ability to problem solve and be an effective, critical thinker.
- Proven ability to multitask and manage simultaneous projects.
