**What you will be doing**:
- Works collaboratively within the Human Resources department to support the research, creation and implementation of a wide range of HR programs;
- Supports talent acquisition through full cycle recruitment for assigned employee groups;
- Supports new hires and mangers during onboarding, working to strengthen the way we deliver the onboarding process. This includes preparing employment agreements, following up for the timely receipt of documentation, coordination requirements prior to the first day and planning for new hire orientation;
- Responds to employee and manager questions about HR programs and procedures; and provides managers with guidance in handling employee relations issues;
- Supports employees and managers through benefits and leave management;
- Ensures accurate and timely information updates in Human Resources platforms;
- Other tasks as assigned.
**What you need to bring**:
- Post secondary education in business administration and/or human resources is an asset;
- 2 - 5 years experience as a Human Resources generalist, with experience maintaining HR data and supporting talent acquisition and onboarding;
- A self-motivated professional with a high level of initiative, a sense of urgency, and the proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Collaborative team player with the proven ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion and tact;
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the proven ability to follow through and meet deadlines;
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy;
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels of the organization;
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
