What you will do
Det'on Logistics is recruiting an Operations Control Center (OCC) Coordinator. Reporting to the Operations Control Center (OCC) Manager, you will oversee the movement of goods and materials through the supply chain and play an essential role in ensuring that the right products are delivered to the right place at the right time. Use your professional communications skills to liaise closely with clients, business partners, and our operations team. This job is in a high-volume, fast-paced setting in which self-motivation and multi-tasking are critical factors in this rewarding work environment.
A Day in the Life
Maintain professional communication with client, carrier and supplier representatives.
Update order statuses and shipment deliveries to client sites.
Prioritize and organize supplier follow-ups and shipment deliveries based on urgency level.
Liaise between different departments and coordinate with project teams to manage day-to-day operations.
Respond to operational issues and coordinate solutions with the appropriate project team.
Answer and respond to critical and non-critical calls. Document and disseminate important information as required.
Maintain accurate data in the freight management system and distribute reports to upper management and clients.
Participate in morning safety meetings and provide constructive feedback to your fellow team members as per the DCL safety policies and procedures.

Two or more years working experience in Logistics and Customer Service Delivery

Knowledge of MS Office and have Solid Computer Skills
