**Key Responsibilities**
Under the direction of the Manager, Integrated Health & Wellness, provides administrative support to the Integrated Health & Wellness unit. This position willwork collaboratively with all members of the Integrated Health & Wellness unit to deliver exceptional health and wellness services to the membership.
(1) Review, verify, enter and process Integrated Health & Wellness data including in designated systems.
(2) Manage billing, prepare invoices, collect and reconcile payments for physiotherapy assessment, treatment and consultation services.
(3) Provide administrative support by managing the units schedules, keeping patients charts up to date and assist with third party billing.
(4) Communicate with other outside agencies and other health care providers including ie WCB, SGI in order to maintain accurate patient records and thirdparty billing requirements.
(5) Maintain, gather, and update all information as it relates to Integrated Health & Wellness patients into applicable databases.
(6) Manage confidential personal health information in accordance to relevant privacy legislation.
(6) Attend meetings to record minutes as it relates to the Integrated Health & Wellness unit.
(7) Answers inquiries from Police Service employees relative to Integrated Health & Wellness policies, bookings and procedures.
(8) Perform other related duties as assigned.
**Competencies**
(1) Minimum Office Education Program and thorough knowledge of computer systems (Excel, Microsoft Word)
(3) Typing Ability: Minimum 50 w.p.m.
(4) Maintain a high degree of confidentiality with all interactions and handling of sensitive health information.
(4) Ability to interact with and liaise with the public.
(5) Must have the ability to work independently in dynamic situations requiring a various number of tasks.
(5) Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
(6) The ability to create and maintain documents in an accurate and efficient manner and manage in accordance to relevant privacy legislation.
(7) The ability to deal with incoming calls and persons in a friendly, efficient and professional manner.
- **THIS POSITION IS CURRENTLY CASUAL FULL-TIME WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF MOVING TO PERMANENT FULL-TIME.**_
