We are looking for **a Communications Manager** for a **permanent position**.
The Communications Manager will manage both our strategic communication and our print and digital storytelling.

**Your day-to-day**:

- **Manage public relations and our communication, both printed and digital**:

- Facilitate the development of content and **ensure consistency and visibility across the brand key initiatives** (product launches, story telling, brand building etc.)
- **Manage our Social Media Specialist**:

- Lead briefings, production management, and approval processes of any social assets/posts, as a team with our Social Media Specialist
- Manage and identify advertising opportunities where appropriate (print & digital)
- **Manage the Communications/PR budget**:

- Overseeing the development of key influencer campaigns
- Oversee and manage the development of content via content creators
- **Draft press releases** for key launches, initiatives, store openings
- Draft fact sheets for short term leads
- Coordinate PR samples for influencers and content creators where necessary
- **Manage local events** (through our 10 boutiques across the country, for new product/colour launches, preferred client list growth etc.)
- Analyze the monthly and quarterly social media reporting
- Lead execution of community engagement and outreach efforts, evaluate success and work to refine strategies on an ongoing basis
- Build and maintain a strong community within the influencer and lifestyle marketing space
- **Develop social media strategies** that span across multiple platforms, as a team with our Social Media Specialist
- Plan, develop, and coordinate approval of the content calendar by social platform on a quarterly basis
- **Audit of the communications plans** to identify opportunities for the future year

**Your assets**:

- **University degree** in PR or communications, **or extensive related business experience** in a senior communications or marketing communications role
- A minimum of **6 years of relevant work experience**, in a communications and/or PR role within a fast-paced environment, for retail brands
- **Bilingual** (fluent in both English and French is mandatory)
- **Exemplary writing and editing skills, both in English and French**:

- Solid knowledge of social media platforms and content management systems (**you have professionally managed Social Media for brands**)
- Understanding of best practices in PR & communications
- Proficiency with social media management and analytical tools, including Sprout Social
- Experience growing brands on social media through strategic community management
- Understanding the KPIs of the different channels and types of content to transform it into a concrete plan, **report on the performance** and adapt along the way
- Excellent communication skills
