**Job Posting**
- Come start your career hereUnder the direction of the Manager, HR Systems & Reporting, Human Resources, the Total Rewards Analyst Intern will support the documentation of processes and workflows to capture corporate knowledge. This will include data collection and analysis, process review, documentation of process steps, auditing current data and review of internal service integration to improve processes.
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Conducts market research to gather information on industry trends related to compensation and benefits
- Collects data and analyzes benefit plans, including recognition programs used in other similar organizations
- Performs audits of existing documentation, including confirmation of beneficiary and dependent information on file for existing employees
- Supports the selection process and implementation of a new employee recognition program
- Documents existing/current work practices and procedures and develops new standard operating procedures
- Assists in the preparation and updating of Total Rewards reference materials
- Assists in the coordination of the annual ISA process, including data collection and analysis
- Supports the Total Rewards team with projects and requests.
- Collaborates with other areas of expertise within Human Resources on cross team projects, such as offer letter drafts and design, job description standardization, and webpage updates and development

QUALIFICATIONS
- Education and Experience:

- Undergraduate degree or diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting or Statistics
- Knowledge or demonstration of SAP or an HRIS is an asset

Technical / Job Specific Knowledge and Abilities:

- Demonstrated skills in process documentation
- Strong written and communication skills
- Ability to work independently

- WORK STATUS: Temporary, Full Time - Up to 18 Months
- HOURS OF WORK: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 35 hours per week
- SALARY: $50,000 per year
- WORK LOCATION: 8th Floor - Purdy’s Wharf Tower II, Upper Water Street, Halifax.
