**Job Summary**:
**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Supervision of part time staff (licensed servers, event supervisors, cashiers) including recruiting, scheduling, training, supervising, evaluating as well as day to day functional guidance
- Ensure appropriate financial and statistical records are maintained for food services including the preparation of weekly revenue reports and the auditing of daily revenue reports
- Understand Corporate cash handling policies and procedures and ensure that they are implemented and maintained
- Assist in the marketing and promotion of food services
- Develop and revise facility administrative procedures which reflect corporate policies
- Work with SAP for payroll inputting and bill payments
- Inventory management - purchasing, daily controls, monthly inventory counts, monitor COGS percentages, maintain standard operating procedures and corporate policy compliance
- Provide excellent and timely customer service to internal and external customers
- Assist and support internal food services orders and event specifications
- Proactively review industry standards to ensure that food services is current with food/service trends and provide support to staff to implement change
- Facilitate weekly food services meetings
- Act as a backup for the Administrative Assistant
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- NOTE: Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary degree or diploma in hospitality, business administration or a related field required
- Minimum 3 to 5 years hospitality or food service administrative experience is considered preferred
- Previous food service or hospitality supervisory or leadership experience is required
- Previous cash handling and food/beverage inventory control experience is considered an asset
- Previous experience with budgeting and financial reporting is a definite asset
- Working knowledge of hospitality/food services practices is required
- Advanced MS Office, including Word, Excel, Power Point is considered an asset
- Knowledge of Silverware POS is considered an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to establish effective working relationships, provide excellent customer service and work in a team environment with changing priorities
- Research and analytical skills required
- Previous knowledge of writing or implementing processes is an asset
- Standard First Aid/CPR C/AED is required (or willing to obtain it within the first 3 months of start date)
- High Five and PHCD/Quest 2 knowledge are considered an asset
- Smart Serve Certification or willing to obtain within 3 months from start date.
- Travel between City of Mississauga facilities is required
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License and access to a vehicle is required

Hourly Rate/Salary: $ 64,464.00 - $ 85,952.00
