Accounting Technician responsibilities include:

- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping & keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems;
- Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books, maintain general ledgers and support the month-end close process;
- Calculate and prepare payments for payrolls and for utility, tax and other bills
- Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, pension contribution forms and other government documents
- Prepare tax returns and perform other personal bookkeeping services
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports.
- Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.

Skills & qualifications for the position:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills to present accounting concepts to other professionals
- Excellent organization skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when managing company records
- Computer proficiency to work with digitalized financial records
- Strong numeracy skills
- Ability to establish and monitor financial reporting systems
- Critical-thinking and analytical skills
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Familiarity with accounting software: SAP Business One

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
