Accounting Assistant

Based in Vancouver, we design, build, and operate hydrogen fuel supply solutions to support the deployment of hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles. Every day, we’re delivering safe, reliable, convenient, sustainable, and low-cost hydrogen to customers and consumers, how, when, and where they need it.

**Responsibilities**
Bookkeeping tasks:
AR:
- Review contract to ensure the invoice complied with customer’s requirements.
- Ensure all billable items and applicable saletaxes are included in the billing period.
- Save invoices in the appropriate folders along with any other backup documents.
- Assist with AR report.
AP:
- Match vendor bills with Purchase Orders.
- Send vendor bills out for approval.
- Track progress & follow up with outstanding invoices daily.
- Assist with reviewing expense reports.
- Assist with weekly AP report.
Admin tasks
- Maintain an online & physical accounting filing system.
- Assist with transferring files to SharePoint.
- Assist with accounting data migration tasks: sorting, reviewing, filling in data templates.
**Requirements**:
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, and MS Teams
- Strong understanding of Bookkeeping principles and best practices.
- Education in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration is preferred.
- Highly organized with a strong sense of ownership & accountability.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with confidence.
- Adaptable to change and willing to take on new responsibilities.
