Atlantic Packaging is seeking a Manager, Finance System specialist for the Finance Department located in Scarborough.

Key point of contact from Finance Information Technology department, managing the relationship and representing the department through Information Technology initiatives. Acts as a representative for business user, influences and/or participates in broader organizational activities and planning.

The role will report to the Controller, Financial Reporting and will also work closely with Finance and Operations personnel.

**Responsibilities and Performance Expectations**:

- Lead the overall finance systems strategy, ensuring technology platforms, finance systems and data are developed and maintained to support the Finance team in its strategic objectives and to improve the efficiency of the system of financial control
- Collaborate with internal IT partners to plan, design, coordinate and deliver on ERP and Finance owned systems to optimize operational activities within finance and financial planning and analysis
- Oversee the design and programming of complex reports to meet business needs for financial reporting and budgeting purpose
- Improvement and upgrade to current budgeting tool and process, to streamline data input and enhance reporting models and processes
- Recommend, design, build and implement consolidation tool
- Create and enforce policies for effective and confidential data management
- Ensure user documentation is created for newly developed, upgraded systems or processes and ensure smooth flow of data within the department
- Manage all aspects of Financial systems projects including identifying business requirements and translating them into functional and technical specifications.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum (3-5) years of recent related experience. Manufacturing experience considered a an asset.
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or in the process of acquiring CPA preferred
- Knowledge of Prophix is preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of systems and database management
- ERP management experience is preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office and computer systems are desired with advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Good organizational and team skills with the ability to prioritize.
- Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Demonstrated organizational, communication and time management skills.
