**Job Summary**
This role is for a skilled specialist who focuses on tasks using considerable skilled judgment and deeply understands standard operating procedures within a Data Center.

**Responsibilities**
- The ability to understand the infrastructure of multiple facilities
- Understanding of ISO 50001 Energy Management System and reporting requirements
- Has a proficient understanding of critical facility components that may be impacted by failures or malfunctions of infrastructure systems
- Evaluates facility standards and practices to ensure efficient operations
- Demonstrated experience with system modeling and implementation of projects resulting in quantifiable total energy reduction
- Participates in the planning and installation of new facility systems
- Work with regional data center management teams to draft and manage energy efficiency roadmap plans. (5-year plans)
- Develop and report on project schedules, budgets, impacts, and results
- Report on PUE baseline, 12-month rolling average, and historical performance
- Validates design criteria for new system design or capacity expansions to ensure proper change management review and approval process is followed
- Stay aware of new technologies in critical electrical and cooling systems and be able to identify appropriate opportunities for implementation
- Experience writing business cases and determining the rate of return for proposed projects
**Qualifications**
- High school diploma
- 4-6 years of equivalent work experience.
