Documentation Specialist

**Description:
- Permanent Full Time- The Documentation Specialist will be responsible for writing processes to support the teams on the PSCP initiative, those in the Benefit Payment Office and others to ensure effective customer interactions.**What you will do**
- Draft and revise user-centric, high-quality documentation including:

- Procedures and processes for internal business teams
- Task-focused instructions including:

- Multi-procedure processes
- Job aids, charts, and infographics
- Troubleshooting tips, FAQ documents, etc.
- Create procedure templates and establish writing best practices
- Partner with a variety of internal stakeholders to create, refine, and continuously improve documentation quality and user experience
- Select and drive approaches/ methodology to elicit information from business partners required for rules, policies and procedures via interviews, document reviews, observations, workshops, etc.

**What you will bring**
- 3+ years of technical writer/documentation specialist experience
- Ability to translate complex institutional processes into clear and succinct instructional documentation
- Build rapport with a variety of business partners (via interview, observations, workshops, etc.)
- Strong analytical/organizational skills to ensure accurate end-user documentation
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong collaboration skills and able to present complex processes succinctly to a variety of audiences
- Understanding of Group Health & Dental products is an asset
- Knowledge of call centre systems is an asset (Salesforce, Verint, etc.)
- Self-motivated and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities effectively
- A positive and flexible attitude with a change management mindset
- Adaptable to new technologies, forward thinker, challenge the ‘status quo’
- Bilingual French/English an asset
- The base salary for this position is between **$51,400**:

- $95,200 **annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.- For student opportunities only- For our student opportunities, the base salary will be dependent on the number of work terms you have completed along with other factors depending on your program.-
