Standard responsibilities include:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Preparation of letters, pleadings & agreements
- Communicating with clients and arranging appointments
- Scheduling and assisting lawyers with preparation for court appearances and trials
- Maintaining a bring forward system
- Assisting in client billing
- File closing
- File management including organizing and managing documents
- General office tasks as required

Salary will be negotiated based on experience.

Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vancouver, BC V6E 4A2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- legal assistant: 2 years (preferred)
- paralegal: 2 years (preferred)
