**Network Infrastructure**

The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.

The Integrated Scale Test team performs scale and integration testing on our network management software, NSP. We work as a close-knit team to build network test beds in our lab to mimic our customer usage of our product. It involves setting up large instances of our NSP platform, simulating large numbers of router/switch operations, user use of the NSP web-based GUI, and much more. Some of the testing is automated, some of it is performed manually.

**What you will learn and contribute to**

As part of our team, you will:

- assist with the configuration of test routers/switches.
- help with the use of router simulation software - SimpleSoft's Simple Agent Pro (Sapro) network simulation.
- assist with the development of Tool Command Language (TCL - tickle) scripts that the router simulation software uses.
- assist with ensuring that the router simulation software is properly started/running.
- assist with ensuring those test scripts are backed up (Git)

**What is Nokia looking for from me**

You have:

- basic software design knowledge
- networking concepts (IP addressing, routers, switches, ssh, network protocols, CLI)
- comfortable with the Linux command-line
- enjoys working in a team environment, interacting with others.

It would be nice if you also had:

- working knowledge of TCL
- some experience with Kubernetes (k8s)
- familiarization with basic git commands
