**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
Vitalus has an exciting opportunity for a part-time HR Assistant, to support our People & Culture team to gain and/or enhance their practical skills in the delivery of our People & Culture initiatives. The benefit for you is to acquire further experience in the coordination of HR initiatives, programs and people activities, contributing to building an engaged workforce and being part of a passionate HR team.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS**:
- Participate in the coordination of health, wellness and engagement initiatives across the organization.
- Provide administrative support at all stages of recruitment and new employee onboarding processes.
- Prepare and file Employee Personnel files.
- Show genuine care and support to Vitalus employees and the organization.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Active enrollment in a relevant HR University / College program (4th year) or in HR Management Certification course.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills, both one-on-one and in groups.
- Strong people orientation balanced with an understanding of business needs. Willingness to assist employees with human resources queries and requests.
- Superior time management skills, multi-tasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks. Accurate and detail-oriented.
- Experience in a culturally diverse work environment.
- Advanced fluency in Windows/MS Office environment.
- Capability to work in a team environment with varied departments and diverse personalities.
