Purpose of Role: The Technical Customer Support Specialist will perform the systems’ monitoring, review, customer case and other required duties to support Weir Motion Metrics systems and users in the different regions worldwide_._

This role will report to Weir Motion Metrics Remote Support Leader and is responsible for providing a quick response as remote support, guided online support and keeping documented tracking of support events to Weir ESCO’s customers and/or internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for monitoring Motion Metrics systems to ensure all systems perform as expected.- Providing resolution to problems related to communication, networking, IP Routing, and synchronization.- Test, Reproduce, and Troubleshoot failures detected and provide a solution promptly on windows, Linux OS and other proprietary software; event investigation, resolution and mitigation for future events.- Documenting performed activities, updating tickets/cases, creating internal reports or adapting the content to a customer-specific requirement when needed. (Salesforce and Jira)- Maintain and update the different user/internal databases regularly, following guidelines, report results and collaboration with Global Development and Support & Service Teams- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Quick learner adept at supporting diverse teams and equipment remotely.- Proficiency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills, fluency in a second language (Portuguese or Spanish) is preferred.- Computer skills encompass Networking, Office Suite, Windows & Linux OS.- Familiarity with databases, server environment support tools, and cloud services.- Open-minded and cooperative approach to assignments within a team setting.- Previous customer support experience in industrial/mining environments is beneficial.
