**Reports to: Executive Director**

**Job Purpose**:
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
1. Administrative:

- Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring compliance with Quality Assurance Measures.
- Organize and update employee personnel files.
- Generate standardized and customized reports.
- Ensure confidentiality of collected data in accordance with legal requirements and company policies.

2. Payroll, Scheduling, and Benefit Administration:

- Assist with quarterly review of staff accruals and sick time reports.
- Provide enrollment information and benefit packages to eligible staff.
- Manage vacation requests and wage increases.
- Handle leave of absence requests and prepare payroll-related reports.

3. Recruitment Related:

- Manage internal and external job postings.
- Schedule sign-up meetings for new hires and create database profiles.
- Attend job fairs and other recruitment events as needed.

4. Supervisory:

- Provide guidance and feedback on performance management.
- Participate in supervisory and disciplinary meetings.
- Supervise and assist Administrative Assistant with tasks.

5. Health and Safety:

- Conduct office Health and Safety inspections and report concerns.
- Maintain Health and Safety board and handle staff injury reports.
- Act as management Health and Safety Representative and assist with related tasks.

6. General:

- Correspond with On-Call Supervisor regarding schedule updates and performance concerns.
- Lead HR portion of compliance reviews and assist with other compliance tasks.
- Participate in HR committees and assist with various projects.

7. Other Projects:

- Undertake additional projects as assigned by Executive Director or Director of Services.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-Secondary education in Human Resources or related field.
- Knowledge of HR functions, legislation, and procedures.
- Familiarity with Labour Relations and Unionized environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment.
- Requirement for full COVID-19 Vaccination (2 doses minimum)

Pay: $25.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
