Job Duties
- Continual operation support (80%)
- Maintain laboratory to make sure materials are available
- Perform experimental procedures in animal husbandry research
- Conduct field research and surveys to collect data and samples of water and animal populations
- Assist in analysis of data and preparation of complaint reports
- On-site verification of production-related monitoring including but not limited to: batch verification, label reconciliation, etc.
- Monthly onsite audits and follow up including sanitation audit, catch audit, foreign material audit, and GMP audit
- Monthly record audits per customer request including freezer timeline, packing timeline using company’s ERP system
- Receive and investigate incoming customer complaints, and work with operation to determine root cause and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize the company’s ERP system to conduct traceability as assigned
- Act as a QA representative and participate in operation huddles regarding the use of company’s production digital system
- Monitor the grading performance of specialty poultry
- Assist with the hold and release process as assigned by the QA Manager
- Review and update HACCP programs as assigned by the SQF partitioner
- Coordinate and take part in regulatory sampling and lab pickup
- Act as a backup QA / QC CP Tech as required.
- Working with the QA Coordinators, act as primary escalation points and back-up.
- Approving the timesheets for the QA / QC technicians.
- Verification of the completed production logs.
- Complete other essential job functions as assigned.
- Coordinates with various QA testing and scheduling.
- Assist plant for compliance with CFIA regulations, and where applicable, follow up with CVS task and any open CARs
- Trains and coordinate activities of QA personnel on the floor level
- Monitors, measures, coaches and develops performance of direct reports.
- Able to post chill when MPIP issues occur from Evis.

Training - CP (20%)
- GMP training during new employee orientation
- New and/ or refresh training on production CP employees, shipping department, maintenance department on relevant SQF programs.
- Completion and maintenance of training records including training forms and LMS
- Regular and timely observation on the effectiveness of training

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
