What We’re Looking For

As Account Manager for the Real Estate Practice Division, you are responsible for maintaining an existing book of business with oversight and direction from the Account Executive. We’re looking for individuals who are driven, client service oriented and ambitious to get to the next step in their career.

**Requirements**:
Level 2 General Insurance License

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Detail oriented - high level of accuracy

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Ability to conduct presentations for small and large groups

Holds valid BC Driver's License - travel to client locations required

Completion or working towards the CAIB, CIP, FCIP or CRM designation

A Day in the Life

Maintain an existing book of business

Take a lead position on the renewal book of business

Provide highest standard of client service

Be flexible to the needs of each client

Remain up-to-date on all current coverage available

Be proactive in foreseeing and meeting the needs of each client

Work closely with our marketing team to provide renewal terms

Participate in formal account reviews; assisting in account rounding and working diligently to provide value-added services for clients

Recognize and actively pursue new business and cross-sell opportunities with the team and Account Executive

Attend and actively participate in industry and company events/meetings and actively build your network (PAMA/REIC/CHOA)

Remain up-to-date on current coverages available, industry issues and any legislative changes

Be flexible and proactive in meeting the needs of all clients

Continue professional development in order to enhance skills and abilities

Account receivable collection

Attendance at AGM’s and council meetings from time to time

Support other team members if back up is needed for client meetings

Participate in social activities with our property manager clients
