**Major Responsibilities**:
To document maintenance and upgrade process and seek approval from stakeholders.

To ensure detailed information with regards to production issue is provided for programmer/analysts to resolve issues.

To lead and prioritize support requests to programmer/analyst.

To be responsible for technical support in being able to read code and recommend specific code changes.

To liaise with the Application Support and Resource Manager to coordinate allocation of p/a resources.

To work with project teams and transition production from project work into business as usual support.

To provide technical leadership to programmer/analysts.

To keep up to date with current industry trends and best practices.

To design, prepare and conduct training relating to problem management and the appropriate usage of the Team Foundation Server.

To participate as an active member of the Information Technology Services team.

To attend and participate in meetings and professional development sessions/training as required.

To perform other duties as assigned.

**Line of Responsibility**:
Responsible to the Senior Manager of Enterprise Applications.

**Education, Experience, and Qualifications**:
A minimum three years of post-secondary education in computer science or a related field is required

Minimum 5 years related experience is required.

An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Board approved/implemented and supported software is required.

Ability to explain features to all levels of users is required

Proficient verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment is required.
