Medical Office Administrator

**BASIC FUNCTION**:
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**The Medical Office Administrator will be responsible for the following**:
- Book clinic appointments for the patients
- Confirm all physician appointments and ensure all documents are on file prior to scheduled appointment
- Working closely with clinical team to assist patients with inquiries
- Send patient referrals
- Checking in patients for appointments, screening patients for COVID-19
- Medical reception coverage
- Daily patient invoicing
- Maintaining overall presentation of the clinic by ensuring that all rooms, including the washrooms, collection rooms and exam room are well-stocked and clean.
- Keeps EMR records up to date by scanning the patient file, test results and other documents and properly saving them in the patient’s electronic file.
- Creating new patient charts
- Ordering medications, kits, pamphlets, other medical supplies as well as participate in monthly and Year-End Inventory.
- Outgoing Mail, accepting deliveries
**ATTRIBUTES / POSITION REQUIREMENTS**:
- 2+ years of Administrative experience.
- Successful completion of a college diploma preferably in the field of Medical Office or Business Administration.
- Computer savvy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office/Suite.
- Ability to prioritize, organize workload and plan independently.
- Exceptional phone etiquettes and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
