Members of our **Front Desk Team** can look forward to performing the following tasks:
- Attend to all concerns of the guest proactively and professionally.
- Ensure the satisfaction of all guests with a consistent positive attitude.
- Review all guest reservations to ensure accuracy.
- Review group resumes and follow up accordingly on any actionable items.
- Ensure rates and account folios are set up and managed correctly.
- Communicate key information to appropriate departments and colleagues.
- Ensure special requests by guests are completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain and balance a cash float during each shift.
- Provide services to guests including: check in/out, telephone inquiries, luggage, handling and taking reservations.
- Provide guests with the information they require.
- Answer questions pertaining to events/activities and provide directions regarding their destination.
- ** Flexible schedule is essential.** Evenings, Weekend, Holiday and overnight are be required.
- 1-2+ Years’ Experience in Front Office Operations, Housekeeping or Rooms preferred.
- Knowledge in **Opera** or other Property Management Systems a strong asset.
- Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management an asset.
- Microsoft Office product knowledge required.
- Positive, professional, motivating personality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Passionate about guest service and hospitality
