**You as a Project Communications Specialist will**:

- Lead Project Communications portfolio and work with Project teams to fulfill project communication requirements,
- Develop and lead communication, community relations, crisis, and stakeholder relations plans,
- Create engaging project content for various internal and external communication channels,
- Attend and lead project communications meetings and community working group meetings
- Develop communications products including media releases, key messages, communications plans, issue notes, presentation material, speaking notes and web and social media content,
- Build constructive relationships across the organization as well as various levels of government partners, to deliver successful communications programs

**Is this the right role for you?**
- Degree or diploma in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field, with 5-7+ years of relevant work experience in Communications/PR
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic communications and issues management plans, developing communication products, conducting media relations, stakeholder relations and managing special events.
- Proficient writer, both creatively and technically,
- Ability to work some evenings for industry events - approximately once per month. Some travel required, mostly within the GTA,
- Team, project, and people leadership skills necessary.
