You are on a trajectory to become a Plant Manager, with a passion for and experience with building teams, you can be proud of. You see yourself as a Mentor first and you are looking for an opportunity to show off your skills in developing and building a multi-department team, and leading continuous improvement initiatives in the manufacturing space.
- You will be a People and Projects Leader. This role is tasked with leading multiple supervisors who lead a team of almost 150 associates. You will be responsible for multiple production departments and functions: Food Preparation, Machine Portion Packing, Packaging Meal Kits.
- As a People Leader, you will ensure roles and responsibilities are clearly defined; performance expectations are well understood and adhered to; you will mentor Supervisors and Lead Hands through clear instruction, guidance and support; you will partner across the organization to ensure effective training programs are in place; and you will manage employee feedback constructively.
- You will be fully accountable for budget and KPI alignment and will participate in setting annual budget and KPI targets, for your group. You will also determine and facilitate initiatives to improve year over year budget and KPI performance within production operations.
- You will be responsible for overseeing the planning of all production operations, including labour scheduling, material flow synchronization, line optimization and contingency plans.
- You will lead and facilitate several continuous improvement projects in your department, focusing on operational efficiencies to deliver great products to our customers on time, in full, and within budget.
- You will be responsible for other operational aspects including ensuring that food safety and GMP’s are consistently being adhered to; company SOP’s and policies are followed; and regulatory requirements are being met.
- You will be responsible for conducting incident investigations and facilitating corrective actions. You will also be responsible for confirming corrective actions are effective, followed through and are sustained.

**What We Are Looking For**:

- 5 years of experience managing productivity, efficiency, and process improvement in a manufacturing setting, at a senior leadership level._ Food manufacturing is preferred but not required._
- 3 years experience managing multiple departments, promoting key players, developing team members and facilitating employee performance management at a senior leadership level.
- Previous experience with Health & Safety systems and JOHSC exposure.
- Quality systems experience would be an asset with SQF, BRC etc.
- Automated processing, production and/or packaging line experience preferred.
- Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience is considered an asset.
