Corporate Administrator

We are looking for a **Corporate Administrator** to join our team. Reporting to the CFO, the Corporate Administrator will assist with the day-to-day needs of Codix’s operations and the needs of our portfolio of companies and investments.
Codix’s head office is located in the heart of Yaletown. We encourage a mix of working from the office or working from home.
**About you**
You are looking for a fast-paced environment with diverse work and a role that offers growth and learning. This position has exposure to accounting, legal and both general and public company administration. You are a detail-oriented person who thrives on wearing different hats, running efficient processes and meeting deadlines. You enjoy working as part of a team but can put your head down and get the job done.
**What you’ll do**
The Corporate Administrator will be working in a team environment with the CEO, CFO, Accountants and representatives from the companies Codix provides financial services to. The Corporate Administrator will fulfil a diverse role with many responsibilities, including the following:
- Responsible for the maintenance of corporate records and agreements
- Responsible for the maintenance of the team’s project and task management tool
- Assist with regulatory compliance, such as business license renewals, filing of news releases and insider transactions and related tasks as required
- Assist with the preparation and filing of regulatory reports and other documentation
- Support and record minutes for Board of Directors meetings
- Assist with the setup of new corporate entities, including bank accounts, government registrations and other related needs.
- Maintain the companies’ websites, including posting blogs and news
- Assist with basic bookkeeping for accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll
- Prepare payroll and maintain employee records
- Reconcile credit card transactions
- Special projects and other tasks as needed and assigned by the CFO or CEO
**What you will bring to the table**
- 3-4 years office administration experience
- 1-2 years accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll experience
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in Quickbooks (Online/Desktop) an asset
- 1-2 years public company experience an asset
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year
