Receptionist - Manufacturing

**Manufacturer of custom windows and doors for over 35 years is looking for a Customer Service Receptionist to join our dynamic team.**

**SUMMARY**:Welcoming & directing clients and visitors and announcing them to appropriate internal staff member in-person or through 5-line phone system.

**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Serving visitors at the front desk by welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately to internal staff.
- Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries/couriers.
- Monitor sign-in log book at front desk.
- Perform clerical receptionist duties such as filing, scanning, faxing.
- Maintains safe and clean Reception area, i.e. watering of plants, replenishing brochures.
- Contributes to the overall success of the team.
- Other tasks as assigned from time to time by Company.

**PREREQUISITES**:

- High school graduate.
- Must have a minimum of one year customer service experience.
- Must have a minimum of one year working in an office environment.
- Must be able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Must possess the poise, diplomacy and maturity to liaise with numerous departments and handle customers.
- Good Data Entry skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational & interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computers (MS Windows, Office and Excel).
- Must be a team player.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

- Office/manufacturing environment.
- Constant interruptions due to reactive nature of the position when performing reception duties.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
