At Fruit Obsession we want to dazzle customers with our delicious, dipped and delivered fruit creations We want to be the go-to gift giving idea in the Georgian Triangle. We offer a wide range of incredibly unique gift-giving ideas like our fruit bouquets, dipped fruit platters and gourmet dipped fruit boxes. In store, we delight our customers with fresh fruit smoothies, fruit salads, freshly squeezed orange juice and baked goods made daily like our cookies by the dozen, turtle pies and cheesecakes

Our company has been built on the concept of creating long-term relationships with our customers through exceptional care, quality of work and professionalism. **Fruit Obsession **wants to grow our business rapidly with superior attention to detail and unmatched customer service. This is an incredible opportunity to get in at the ground-level of a new business here in Collingwood. We are looking for individuals that aren't afraid to work hard, work safe, pride themselves on attention to detail, communicate effectively with our customers and are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure complete satisfaction for our customers.

We have full-time and part-time position available. Wages start at **$18.50 with an automatic increase and eligibility for a health spending account **following the successful completion of a 90-day probationary period for full-time employees.

Reporting to the Owner, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

- Build bouquets, platters are boxes according to our established standards.
- Prepare orders according to customers' instructions, utilizing approved procedures and proper portion sizes.
- Selects fruit for arrangements, wash, peel and cut various fruit.
- Listen and learn customer needs and appropriately suggests products with every customer to enhance service.
- Follows cash handling and register processes.
- Compliance with all safety regulations, particularly the safe handling of food products of assigned tasks.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the company’s health and safety program.
- Compliance with all Fruit Obsession policies and programs.
- Daily packaging builds and store cleaning duties.
- Assistance with administrative duties such as inventory, event quotes, promos, etc.
- Other reasonable duties as assigned.
- **Requirements**:_
- Minimum Grade 12, some post-secondary education preferred.
- Previous food service and/or hospitality experience with strong customer service background preferred.
- Possess safe work habits with an awareness of safe work procedures, hazards, chemicals, tools, and equipment.
- Current certification in First Aid/CPR is an asset.
- Skilled in time management, prioritizing tasks and working under pressure.
- Display physical mobility and stamina.
- Able to attend to details and follow instructions.
- Able to work independently, quickly and safely.
- Possess good communication, organization and teamwork skills.
- Computer skills are an asset.
- Security Clearance required prior to offer of employment.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
- Possess sensational customer service philosophy.
- Highly organized, results oriented and ability to work in a multi-functional team environment.
- **Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to)**:_
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Ability to work long shifts 6-10 hours in duration on successive days
- Ability to move heavy objects
- Lifting and Carrying 44-66lbs.
- Pushing and Pulling 75lbs.
- Bending, kneeling and repetitive tasks/movements
- **Visa Requirements**:_
- Applicant must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Applicant must have a work permit or valid and verifiable SIN

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
