**1 ‑ Casual ‑ Diagnostic Assessment Program Assistant (DAP)**
**Northwestern Ontario Breast Screening Program**
Reporting to the Manager, Screening and Assessment Services, the Diagnostic Assessment Program Assistant (DAP) will support the DAP Lead and staff to improve access, timely test processing, result provision and follow‑up for primary care providers, physicians and health care facilities; supporting the development, implementation and evaluation of initiatives that facilitate the patient's smooth transition from referral through assessment to definitive diagnosis.
Employment Requirements:
- Post‑secondary degree or diploma in informatics, business or a health‑related field
- 1‑2 years experience in data entry, tracking and analysis; demonstrated interest in health care or health care
related experience a definite asset
- Demonstrated proficiency of office productivity software (i.e. MS Office, MS‑ Access, MS‑Visio, Meditech, Novell,
Groupwise, Meditech, etc)
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Effective interpersonal, communication and public relations skills
- Committed to patient and family centred care
- Results oriented with the ability to work in a dynamic environment
- A strong team player who is able to work independently
- Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team including professional service providers and their staff to
implement activities and programs
Salary Range: $30.516 to 35.902
