The main objective of this position consists in analyzing all of the logistics and costs related to the Bulk distribution operations on a national basis. The incumbent has to monitor key performance indicators and recommend improvements, while promoting ALC quality and safety objectives.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- 1. Performs logistic analyses: Ensures data management concerning bulk distribution. Makes sure that the data is pertinent and accurate by analyzing operations and expenses. Analyzes and monthly monitors the accounting operations related to Bulk for the Regional Distribution Centers and Head Office. Analyzes and monitors the evolution of key performance indicators and costs. Tracks trends and analyzes trips, deliveries and the results of distribution operations. Proposes and recommends improvements or corrections to his/her immediate supervisor in order to optimize distribution on an operational level and in terms of quality and safety, while reducing operating costs.
- 2. Provides support to logistic staff: Supports and assists logistics personnel by establishing guidelines and good management and operating methods. Assists the logistics personnel with respect to the methodology used when elaborating schedules and routes, distribution plans, assessing distribution costs and provides support with respect to the relevant reports and analyses.
- 3. Generates operation reports: Is responsible for the month-end process for the Bulk distribution group. Makes improvements with respect to the clarity and meaning of these reports. Realizes and publishes monthly operating and management reports for Bulk distribution in order to inform those concerned with the growth of the distribution operations in relation to pre-established objectives. Follows up as required with the distribution centers in order to correct errors in the information transmitted. Monitors efficiency action plans while ensuring that those concerned take action. Publishes a quarterly report on KPI evolution and logistics group projects
- 4. Process improvement: Develops and maintains tools and work methods for the continuous improvement of Bulk and non-Bulk operations. Works in cooperation with his/her team and with cross-functional teams to continuously improve work methods. Analyses the functioning of the activity, determines the causes of problems and proposes corrective measures accordingly.
- 5. Quality/Safety: Promotes ALC’s safety and quality objectives. Knows and respects all of the procedures provided in the ALC Quality Manual. Makes sure that appropriate corrective and preventive measures are taken to deal with customer complaints.

- TRAINING & KNOWLEDGE- Diploma: Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management or industrial engineering, or equivalent.-
- Training:- Knowledge: MS Office, bilingualism, database processing, oral and written communication skills.- EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
- 3-5 years in the field.
