Servus is growing We are currently looking for a **Pricing Analyst **in our **Product and Rewards **department**.**

The **Pricing Analyst** supports product development, competitive intelligence, and day-to-day operations in the **Product and Rewards** department, under the direction of the Senior Manager - Products. Responsibilities include balancing the needs of the credit union, employees, and members, with significant impact on pricing decisions affecting our value proposition and financial performance. Strong technical skills in spreadsheet modeling and financial analysis are crucial for implementing pricing methodologies and recommending changes. This role manages the administration and distribution of loan and deposit rates, develops pricing models, monitors competitor rates, and provides recommendations to optimize our rate positioning. Critical thinking and effective communication are essential for providing insightful advice to various stakeholders both within and outside the department.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Member Service:

- Provide exceptional service and solutions for staff and members.
- Balance various needs and educate stakeholders on decisions.

Competitive Intelligence:

- Monitor industry trends and competitor rates.
- Inform stakeholders and recommend adjustments aligned with goals.

Retail Rate Administration:

- Assist in implementing pricing strategies.
- Manage daily rates and develop pricing mechanisms.

Technical Skill Support:

- Excel proficiency and aid in tool development.
- Provide technical guidance and ad-hoc analysis.

Communication and Policy Support:

- Engage with stakeholders, ensure accurate communication.
- Manage internal authorization and support policy development.

Special Projects:

- Assist on initiatives, collaborate with senior management.

**Requirements**:
**Experience**:
**Education and Training**:

- A post-secondary degree specializing in Finance or Economics is preferred but equivalent experience with financial markets will be considered as a substitute.
- Advanced spreadsheet skills, being able to develop financial models, tools, and calculators independently.

**Licenses/Certificates**:

- Canadian Securities Course would be considered an asset.
- Progress towards a Chartered Financial Analyst or related designation would be considered an asset (but is not required)

**Any other special requirements necessary to do the job**:
The business may from time to time ask for branch and/or department support for special projects and/or areas experiencing staff shortages. All employees may be asked to volunteer to assist in areas of need during these times. These assignments could result in a change of hours, location, and/or travel.
