Position Overview:
The Exchange Analyst will share ownership of to managing the fixed transfer pricing policy and price list for OEM Remanufacturing, provide strategic/ tactical analysis, and support all areas of the company related to both pricing and rebuild costs. In addition, this position will support other elements of OEM’s commercial strategy, including Exchange warranty and Caterpillar claims.

**Job Description**:

- Assist and provide overall analysis support with cost modelling & cost/benefit analysis/projections & recommendations
- Support service plus base price estimations for Product Support new part set up and with calculations for cost impacts of existing or under-review product changes
- Perform cost modelling and compilation of information to support existing and potential claim opportunities
- Provide labour hours and adjusted materials cost per component, as required, to represent current average rebuild base costs for the Enterprise, to be used as needed in deal and contract negotiations
- Complete other complex cost impact modelling, as required
- Identify opportunities for increased revenue, margin, & cost reporting & analysis insights, to allow operational areas of the business to uncover cost reduction opportunities
- Coordinate all inputs to the quarterly and ad-hoc fixed price process
- Identification of opportunities to change pricing rules and improve existing inputs to the process
- Point of contact within OEM/Exchange for questions & analysis related to internal warranty policies, both current and proposed changes
- Service letter claim reconciliation, reporting, and ongoing projections
- Manage process of claims to CAT for financial recoveries
- Support ad-hoc projects related to data analysis or investigation
- Will work on a team of 2 analysts, in collaboration with other teams within Finning/OEM

Qualifications:

- Post-secondary degree from a recognized Canadian college or university, preferably in Business; or equivalent work experience
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other database management programs
- 3+ years of experience in analysis, finance, marketing and/or sales, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with public speaking and presenting across occupational levels in a company
- High commercial aptitude and extreme cost-conciseness
- Independent thinker who loves a challenge
- Savvy data-mining and analysis skills
- Strong and clear and concise verbal and written communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong problem solving skills
- Previous heavy equipment dealership or manufacturing facility experience would be an asset
- Experience with Python and M3 Infor is an asset
