Peak Equipment Supervisor

The Equipment Supervisor provides technical knowledge for audio, video, projection, video walls, and computer equipment. This position maintains the inventory and maintenance of the equipment.
**Responsibilities**:
- The ability to competently multitask and handle multiple project streams simultaneously.
- Demonstrates calm and in control under pressure demeanor and maintains a consistent level of activity and performance when placed in tense, high pressure situations.
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Responsible for front line customer service and portrays a polished professional image while interacting with clients, partners, and other vendors as needed.
- Reports all emergencies, setbacks, and unresolved issues to management.
- Maintain inventory and system control for all gear under the direction of Equipment Manager ensuring the equipment is in good working order and assisting with storing new gear as well as properly inputting the data into the inventory.
- Maintaining local stock of tools, for both warehouse and shows/techs, commonly used equipment parts/bolts and hardware, including test equipment for the warehouse.
- Keep track of the budget for equipment maintenance, repairs, and new purchases.
- Inspects equipment to make sure that it meets safety regulations and Peak standards of quality.
- Assists in pulliing and returning equipment to/from shows in the warehouse as required by the warehouse supervisor.
- Provides oversight of AV equipment installation, dismantle, inventory and maintenance on an as needed basis.
- Responsible to store, maintain and repaire all warehouse equipment, including:
- Keep track of all AV gear (microphones, cameras, speakers, etc.) and ensure everything is ready for use.
- Test equipment and decide what needs repairs, as well as help organize the warehouse as needed.
- Make sure equipment is stored safely and is in good condition
- Maintain contact with service and repair contractors.
- Schedule preventative maintenance and repairs to equipment.
- Maintain maintenance inventory records of all equipment and supplies.
- Assists with show delivery & pick-up, set-up, operate and dismantle as required.
- Promotes motivation, communication, teamwork and a positive attitude between all employees.
**Education and/or Experience**
Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; and 2+ years’ professional experience successfully executing projects and programs and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. General knowledge of audio visual technology including LED walls and lighting equipment.
**Language Skills**
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, proposals, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
**Mathematical Skills**
**Reasoning Ability**
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
**Computer Skills**
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Office Word Processing software, Microsoft PowerPoint and Outlook. Knowledge of Inventory controll software and rental point knowledge is a plus.
