The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is one of North America's largest deployed police services with more than 5,800 uniformed officers, 2,400 civilian employees and 830 Auxiliary officers. We provide essential services that ensure the safety and security of the people of the Province of Ontario. The Risk Management Services Section provides coordination and support to OPP Corporate, Regional and Field Offices, Ontario Coroner's Office, Legal Services Branch (SOLGEN), Crown Law Office - Civil, Criminal and Constitutional Law Branch, MGS Labor, Risk Management Insurance Services (RMIS), AVIVA Insurance Company of Canada, and Zurich Insurance.

**How do I qualify?**:
**Mandatory**: Ability to pass an OPP background security investigation.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**: Knowledge of legislation and relevant ministry policies, programs, practices and guidelines applicable to the risk management complaints, grievance procedures, strategic issues and litigious processes involving the OPP.

Ability to prepare, participate and present at executive levels of government and OPP as required.

Planning, organizing and coordinating skills to manage multiple projects/files/initiatives concurrently.

Interpersonal skills to work effectively with various internal and external clients and coordinate work on multiple complex files.
