**Description:
- Permanent Full Time- We are looking for a Manager, Strategy & Execution for our Freedom Experience team.- Freedom Experience is a business unit focused on delivering personalized guidance for employees in group benefits and retirement plans. In addition to building trusted relationships with those employees, we ensure they understand the full value of the suite of voluntary products within their benefits plan that cover their needs across their entire financial journey.- The Manager will play a critical role on Freedom Experience’s Strategy & Execution team. Freedom Experience is one of Canada Life’s fastest growing business units and a key driver of our future growth. In this role, you will identify new strategic opportunities, and lead a portfolio of initiatives that will directly contribute to our business growth ambitions.- The Manager will foster an atmosphere of creativity, innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement among the team. You will be empowered to act as a change leader, to achieve Freedom Experience’s growth strategy.**What you will do**:
**Business strategy - **Identify and assess growth opportunities for the business; position and validate new projects/concepts; create business cases to clearly articulate the financial/strategic value; provide thought leadership on industry and competitive trends

**Stakeholder management/communication **- work with the Freedom Experience leadership team to define a project vision; structure and drive early discussions with key cross-functional business partners to obtain buy-in

**Project management **- independently develop project plans; provide structure and accountability to the working group, including managing activities, timelines, and cost; identify and mitigate potential risks & issues; produce project documentation

**Execution **- effectively lead and manage a portfolio of multiple strategic initiatives concurrently; complete projects on time, on budget, and with high quality output**What you will bring**:
**Progressive experience in management consulting / strategy **at a large corporation; financial services experience preferred - in areas such as life insurance, banking, wealth & asset management, group life & health, or benefits & pensions

**Strong business acumen** - demonstrated aptitude for strategic, analytical, and critical thinking to drive P&L growth

**Leadership & communication** - Ability to influence and develop strong stakeholder relationships; excellent written and verbal communications skills

**Excellent research & analytical skills**:

- including financial analysis and modeling

**Solution-oriented execution**: Experience delivering initiatives to successful completion

**Ownership mentality & a positive attitude **- bring a ‘can-do’ mindset; ask questions that elevate the team’s thinking; take full initiative and end-to-end ownership over your work

**Technical skills**: Expert in Microsoft PowerPoint, strong in Excel, OneNote, etc.

**Education**: Undergraduate degree in Business; MBA considered an asset**Salary Range**:

- Minimum: $82,800- Maximum: $137,900- #LI-Hybrid- The base salary for this position is between
- **$minimum**:

- $ maximum** annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
