Manager, Milvus Trade Capture

**What is the opportunity?**

In this role, you will lead and manage a team of Administrators and Senior Administrators who are responsible for the accurate and timely processing of securities trades on behalf of our clients. Ensures all client deliverables are met, find efficiencies in current processes, reduce overall risk by standardizing processes across the teams functions. You will also lead quality initiatives in an effort to enhance the service we provide to our clients, via both internal and external service and client groups and establish and implement updated controls in order to maintain the integrity of the groups functions and achieve a high level of standards expected by our clients.

**What will you do?**
- Responsible for managing a team of administrators and Senior Administrators who are responsible for the accurate and timely processing of securities trades on behalf of our clients.
- Proactively plan, organize and coordinate workflow to adhere to department objectives by effectively meeting all related deadlines and improving efficiencies.
- Ensures operational and administrative effectiveness within the team by implementing quality and productivity improvements aimed at increasing both accuracy and efficiency.
- Escalation point for the team in addressing non-standard operational and client issues. Works with Client Service to address and resolve client issues.
- Promotes and reviews process improvements, DOP, PPAs and objectives.
- Ongoing review of existing procedures to ensure that risk issues are effectively anticipated and mitigated.
- Manages yearly audit for the team to ensure compliance with the applicable regulatory requirements and Corporate/Risk Management requirements
- Ensures employees understand our vision, as well as support and reinforce client focused behaviors that contribute to RBC goals.
- Provides focus and clarity in establishing individual goals, driving performance, supporting career development and rewarding individual and team success.
- Accepts and successfully executes change while supporting employees through the process, and keeping them focused on business priorities

**What do you need to succeed?**

**Must-have**
- 3 -5 years’ experience managing staff
- Knowledge of trust and custody business.
- Knowledge of internal systems.
- Be able to effectively direct others.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to meet strict deadlines and manage unforeseen processing requirements
- Ability to prioritize with attention to detail
- Time and Self-Management
- Problem Solving abilities
