JOB TITLE: Import Production Coordinator LOCATION: MONTREAL, QC

**Position Summary**:
Thread Collective Inc is looking for an Import Production Coordinator to join our team and to help expand further our line and better our execution.

**RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES**
- Responsible for daily communication with suppliers
- Responsible for follow ups and sending all production related comments to suppliers overseas
- Responsible for tracking all customer requirements (i.e. price tickets/packing and shipping requirements)
- Responsible for updating production log book and approval status
- Issue PO’s to overseas suppliers
- Responsible for status/tracking 1st fit to shipping samples
- Communication with Traffic Dept on shipping details
- Adhere to timelines as per seasonal calendar specialisations
- Analyze inspection and testing reports
- Coordinate with design, sourcing, fit and other cross-functional teams.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 3-5 years of experience in similar position working for a fashion importer selling to major retailers
- 5 years of experience in the fashion and apparel industry
- Extremely organised and detail oriented
- Ability to work in collaborative team environment, as well as work independently
- Good time management skills, ability to prioritize, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of production cycle
- Excellent level in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Momentis & PDM knowledge an asset

**Sommaire du poste**:
Thread Collective Inc est à la recherche d’un coordonnateur de la production d’importation pour se joindre à notre équipe et aider à élargir encore notre ligne et améliorer notre exécution

**Responsabilités**:

- Responsable de la communication quotidienne avec les fournisseurs
- Responsable du suivi et de l’envoi de tous les commentaires liés à la production aux fournisseurs à l’étranger
- Responsable du suivi de toutes les exigences des clients (c.à-d. les billets de prix/l’emballage et les exigences d’expédition)
- Responsable de la mise à jour du carnet de production et de l’état d’approbation
- Émettre des bons de commandes aux des fournisseurs étrangers
- Responsable de l’état/suivi 1er ajustement à l’expédition des échantillons
- Communication avec dép. du trafic sur les détails de l’expédition
- Respecter les délais selon les spécialisations saisonnières du calendrier
- Analyser les rapports d’inspection et d’essai
- Coordonner avec la conception, l’approvisionnement, l’ajustement et d’autres équipes interfonctionnelles.

**Exigences**:

- 3-5 ans d’expérience à un poste similaire au sein d’un importateur de mode vendant à de grands détaillants
- 5 ans d’expérience dans l’industrie de la mode et du vêtement
- Extrêmement organisé et axé sur le détail
- Capacité de travailler en équipe collaborative et de travailler de façon autonome
- Bonnes compétences en gestion du temps, capacité à hiérarchiser et compétences en résolution de problèmes
- Connaissance du cycle de production
- Excellente connaissance de Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Connaissance de Momentis & PDM connaissance d’un atout

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
