As our Import Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following.

Sourcing:
*

Request quotations from suppliers, follow up and make necessary adjustments on quality requirements as per management’s instruction to achieve target prices.

*

Maintain price list from suppliers and collaborate internally by providing necessary information when requested.

*

Provide new factory information to set up supplier profiles in Navision system.

*

Collaborate with forecasting department to understand inventory levels. Ensure to provide management with accurate information to facilitate purchasing.

*

Collaborate with management to source new factories.

Provide management with Purchase Orders for approval.

*

Follow up with suppliers to ensure Purchase Orders are accepted and returned in a timely fashion.

*

Update receipt of goods and collaborate with account payable to release POs in Navision system on a timely basis.

*

Review inventory levels of PDQ boxes and pick-pack boxes. Provide schedule of boxes, issue POs for replenishment to avoid low inventory or out of stock.

*

Purchase labels, EPC stickers, etc

*

Report of Vendor KPI, history PO analyse and negotiate the price as per management’s need

*

Review item’s forecast and give suggestion of controlling the PO shipment

*

Other task as assigned

Production:
*

Maintain Shipping Matrix and Vendor Production Report for an overview of programs, suppliers, and ETA’s.

*

Oversee and communicate with QC teams overseas about updates, new POs and/or programs.

*

Liaise with the design team and suppliers on communications regarding samples, quality, testing and packaging issues.

*

Closely monitor production status for all suppliers, maintain Production procedure tracking report. Ensure that all suppliers meet deliveries and escalate any issues to management.

*

Communicate with QC team for inspection and test issues. Maintain inspection report file for all suppliers.

*

Maintain supplier social compliance certificate.

*

Oversee Corrective Action Plans for factory audits. Carefully read all documentation and provide management with synopsis. Ensure that factories comply and provide evidence.

*

Availability to communicate with suppliers during evenings regarding urgent issues.

*

Ability to translate in conference calls.

*

Other task as assigned.

*

Provide production planning with Qty breakdown for seasonal program to assure a flow of goods

*

Follow up and supervise nominated printer for band order to assure good quality and on time delivery

*

Practice Jet report to create PO history report for costing and open PO traffic report

*

Analyse EDI sales order and collaborate with sales team for sales line cancellation

*

Collect supplier performance information for evaluate supplier KPI

*

Logistics:
*

Monitor bookings and ensure they are done prior to ETD. Coordinate with Logistics department to get urgent shipments approved on time.

*

Follow up with suppliers regarding shipped quantities. Inform internal team when partial shipments were made and update ETA.

*

Coordinate with suppliers to get shipping documents sent timely and properly. Review the packing list to make sure all the information is correct.

*

Follow up on release of goods to ensure minimum delays.

*

Analyse the movement of inventory in three PL’s and Laval warehouse to ensure the accuracy as per management instruction

*

Prepare the export document of type 20 and type 21 for USA orders

*

Other task as assigned

**Skills**:Excellent interpersonal skills.

Excellent skills in Microsoft Office.

Detailed oriented and ability to maintain several databases at once.

Solution oriented individual who can communicate efficiently with foreign partners.

Very good knowledge of English written and spoken.

Knowledge of Mandarin is an asset.

Available in evenings as requested to communicate on issues with suppliers.

This is a contract until August 2020 with possibility of extension.
