**Roles/Requirements**
**Continuous Improvement**
- Work with the General Manager in developing and establishing the continuous improvement program to be rolled out across the organization.
- Establish priority list of projects, key deliverables and timelines for all the CI initiatives.
- Secure and protect information while working on CI projects.
- Develop and improve processes to increase efficiency, productivity and employee engagement.
- Help in the development of the corporate culture and establish positive and safe environment for everyone.
- Organize and lead the planning.
- Facilitate, and coordinate Kaizen and Value Stream Mapping Events.
- Help the General Manager in developing Quality Function, Documentation and Systems.
**Production Leadership**
- Meet with all shop supervisors and General Manager to discuss production goals for the week.
- Organize and improve manufacturing process and flow on shop floor.
- Prepare and attend weekly production meetings with exceptional communication skills.
- Ensure all supervisors are updating production schedule on regular basis.
- Understand and communicate accurately production deadlines and requirements.
- Read and interpret Engineered drawings, prints, and schematics. Familiarize yourself with each job on the shop floor.
- Ensure each Supervisor completed Quality Control Documents.
- You will be responsible to ensure all products leaves in best condition.
- Ensure supervisors Conduct daily Tool box meetings, assigning and adjusting crew tasks to align priorities to meet production deadlines and goals.
- Maintaining a safe, happy and healthy work culture.
- Help to create and maintain a team atmosphere.
- Making sure to keep a clean and safe working environment at the end of shift. Responsible for the maintaining and inspecting all company tools and accounting for missing tools at the end of every shift
- Willing to understand and enforce company procedures and policies
**Qualifications**
- At least 5 years of Manufacturing Leadership Experience
- Lean Manufacturing Certification
- Experience in leading 5S, Kaizen and CI projects
- College or trade school diploma is a MUST
- Computer skills is a MUST
- Flexibility to work longer days and Saturday
- Must have strong conflict resolution skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Superior communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Work well under pressure
- Proven ability to effectively finish project to meet our deadlines
- Must be located in Canada
