**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The **Governance and Partnerships Coordinator **is a full-time permanent role that provides support for the One Stop Talk/ Parlons Maintenant (OST/ PM) governance councils and Steering Committee as well as lead outreach and engagement for existing and potential future systems, organizations and corporate/ funding partnerships. It is expected that this role will spend 50% of their time supporting governance related activities and 50% of their time on partnership strategy enablement.

**_ Salary range: _**_$57,143.00 to $66,544.00 per annum._

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Develop and maintain relationships with leadership from system partner agencies, stakeholders and funders across the province to support and increase collaborative working relationships for continued program expansion.
- Lead the development and implementation of an outreach and engagement strategy for existing and potential future systems, organizations and corporate/ funding partnerships.
- Cultivate new partnerships for the program and engage in ongoing relationship-building with existing partnerships.
- Ensure effective stakeholder engagement to support program success and growth.
- Develop and prepare meeting materials for governance councils and the Steering Committee in accordance with agency marketing outlines.
- Liaise with all governance councils and Steering Committee bodies to schedule meetings, align project objectives, and facilitate decision-making.
- Contribute as part of the Strategy Department to organizational development and planning, and to the activities and priorities of the Strategy Team.
- Focus on building cross-team collaborations and identifying issues for discussion and follow-up at operations team meetings.

**THE “MUST HAVES”**

The following education, professional memberships and knowledge are a requirement for this role:

- Related Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or Human Services.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Ability to speak and write in French is required for this role.
- Private space within a home office environment that includes appropriate safeguards in order to provide a confidential service.
- Excellent organization and project management skills.
- Awareness and understanding of the necessity of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and within the community being served by the position.
- Very strong interpersonal skills, adept at relationship building, influence, and persuasion, and demonstrated political acumen.
- Excellent capacity to work with multi-stakeholder groups from the corporate, public or not for profit sectors, as well as internal constituents across multiple business functions.
- Excellent communication skills as well as effective judgment, presentation, and conflict management skills.

**THE ‘NICE TO HAVES’**
- Awareness and understanding of the necessity of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and within the community being served by the position.
- An understanding of Anti-Black Racism, anti-oppressive/anti-racism perspective in the context of the social determinants of health when working with clients and their families.
- Ability to recognize and identify situations where incidents of and imbalance of power and privilege may occur and can result in possible negative impacts.
- Certification or specialized training in Quality Improvement, Stakeholder Engagement or Co-Design Methodology, Change Management and/or Project Management would be an asset.
- Demonstrated experience working with communities from diverse backgrounds including working with Indigenous populations would be an asset.
- Experience working in or with community mental health agencies is an asset.
- Knowledge of the province of Ontario’s regions, cultural differences and resources would be an asset.
- Knowledge of the cultural diversity of communities served by the agency is as asset.
- Fluency in another language(s), including sign language would be an asset.
- Prior experience in the not-for-profit sector.
