**Job Summary**

We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to the Administrative department, in addition to assisting with the daily office needs and other general administrative activities.

**Role Description/Typical Duties & Responsibilities**
- Provides confidential administrative support to the Administration department and to other departments pertaining to client referrals;
- Manages the schedule and calendar of all onsite meeting rooms at the Skinner Street office,
- Supports Human Resources with maintaining employee personnel files, staff onboarding process, tracking of employment requirements and notify staff near expiry dates, when needed;
- Organizes meetings, training, conferences, and other special events, as required; including organizing rooms, ordering of supplies, food arrangements, printing materials and filing them accordingly;
- Maintains employee and client archived files and records with an effective filing system;
- Monitors the inventory of office supplies and places new orders as required;
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**
- Certificate in Office Administration;
- Two years of recent related administration experience;
- Certificate in First Aid, preferred;
- Previous experience working for a not-for-profit organization in a Mental Health setting is considered an asset.

**OTHER REQUIREMENTS**
- Clear criminal record check through the Solicitor’s General Office
- Up-to-date on Provincial immunization schedule
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
- Negative TB test

- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and handle multiple projects;

- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and to handle a variety of situations with tact and discretion;
- Ability to maintain records with a high degree of accuracy;
- Ability to complete a high volume of work, with frequent interruptions, and meet deadlines;
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer skills;
- Physical ability to perform the duties of this position including the ability to lift up to 40 pounds;
- Knowledge of social media platforms;
- Self-motivated;
- Knowledge of community resources an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.04-$21.05 per hour
