Ottawa, Canada Know History Full time

Since our inception in 2011, we have completed over 350 projects for museums, Indigenous Nations, non-profits, and communities across Canada. Whether we’re producing historical documentaries or conducting research for litigation support, we work with our clients to uncover the past and tell stories that matter.
Know History is the only historical research firm in Canada that designs customized digital registry systems that help Indigenous clients connect contemporary citizens to their ancestors and historical communities. These digital registries, when paired with our comprehensive kinship and genealogical analysis, support Indigenous rights assertions and self-determination. Our specialization in large-scale research projects is rooted in technology that compiles and retrieves information from thousands of data sources at once, gleaned from genealogical documents from archives and libraries across Canada and beyond.

- Liaise with leads and other key team members to advise on issues, delays, and needs for support
- Support project administration (creating delivery lists, updating, and maintaining project standards, and other similar tasks)
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of process-driven research methodologies
- Any additional registry support or administrative tasks required

**Preferred Skills & Qualifications**:

- 2 or more years of relevant experience with research, data analysis, and statistics; preferably in a public history setting or similar field such as the humanities, social sciences, archeology, etc.
