We provide prevention, education, advocacy, counseling, and empowerment to children, youth, and families who have witnessed or experienced violence. Our PEACE Child and Youth program offers support both in an outreach and in-office capacity, tailoring our approach to meet the unique needs of each client and their caregivers.

**Qualifications and Lived Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Child and Youth Care or related field, including training in family systems and child development theories.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience working with children and youth.
- Proven experience in one-on-one support and group facilitation with children and youth.
- Experience in providing caregiver support.
- In-depth understanding of family violence and the dynamics and impacts of violence and abuse on women and children.
- Knowledge of and experience practicing from client-centered, family systems, and trauma-informed models.
- Ability to develop and nurture relationships across various cultures, respecting diverse protocols, beliefs, and traditions.
- Capacity to meet children and youth in both outreach and office settings.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and engage actively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience working in women’s organizations and non-profit societies.
- Satisfactory criminal record check.
- Valid class 5 unrestricted driver’s license.

Pay: $28.00-$33.00 per hour
