**What is the Position?**

As Client Controller, you have the unique opportunity to work with a variety of clients while also gaining in-depth knowledge of your clients’ day-to-day accounting operations and becoming an extension of their team. Specifically, you will help our clients by:

- Providing day-to-day coordination of accurate financial reporting and on-time processing of client information;
- Handling a multitude of accounting activities (general ledger prep, financial reporting, year-end working paper preparation, and budget and forecast activities);
- Maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements;
- Handling bank, payroll, and other balance sheet account reconciliations;
- Reviewing and approving account classifications;
- Reviewing G/L for missing transactions and accuracy;
- Connecting with clients and their contacts, including their tax accountant and other professional service providers; and
- Supervising A/R, A/P, payroll, and bookkeeping functions.

**This may be the perfect opportunity if you**:

- Have 2 - 5 years’ experience as a Controller (or, in a similar role).
- Enjoy working in a role where no two days will be the same.
- Have experience leading and motivating a team.
- Get excited about working with a variety of clients and learning about their businesses.
- Learn technology quickly and have strong skills in MS Office and QuickBooks Online.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, or an applicable field. CPA designation is an asset.
