Position: Project Manager - Inventory Control
Location: Regina, SK
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week
Contract Length: Initially 3 months, with possibility of extensions
Start Date: Mid-June

Description: We are seeking a qualified Project Manager to oversee the integration of a new inventory control system, specifically JD Edwards, for our client. This role will involve coordinating various aspects of the implementation process to ensure a smooth transition and optimal functionality of the system.

Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the implementation of the new inventory control system, JD Edwards.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.
Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure timely delivery.
Coordinate with vendors and external partners as needed to support the implementation process.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project status and key milestones.
Conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure proper understanding and utilization of the new system.
Oversee post-implementation activities, including system testing, troubleshooting, and support.

Qualifications:

Proven experience managing projects related to inventory control system implementations.
Demonstrated expertise with JD Edwards or similar inventory management software.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute project plans, manage timelines, and mitigate risks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to project management.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and competing priorities.
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
